Cordelia Sun to Make Indian Debut in November 2027
Cordelia Cruises’ newly acquired Cordelia Sun (currently sailing as Norwegian Sun) is slated to begin operations in India in November 2027, according to the line’s website. The 2001-built ship, purchased alongside sister vessel Norwegian Sky in April 2025, will expand the homegrown brand’s fleet and support its broader deployment plans in the Indian market.

TUI River Cruises has ordered two CDS River Cruise 135 vessels from Dutch shipyard Concordia Damen, each with 94 cabins for 188 guests and delivery scheduled in 2028. The methanol-ready ships are designed specifically for the UK market and will operate across key European waterways, supporting TUI’s planned fleet growth from six to ten vessels by 2028.
