Legend of the Seas to Support Roald Dahl Children’s Charity
Royal Caribbean’s new Legend of the Seas will partner with Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity during its July 2026 inaugural European season, using onboard fundraising and awareness campaigns to support specialist Roald Dahl Nurses across the UK. The collaboration is tied to the shipboard debut of Roald Dahl’s “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” and includes a dedicated preview cruise for nursing staff as a thank-you for their work.

TUI River Cruises has ordered two CDS River Cruise 135 vessels from Dutch shipyard Concordia Damen, each with 94 cabins for 188 guests and delivery scheduled in 2028. The methanol-ready ships are designed specifically for the UK market and will operate across key European waterways, supporting TUI’s planned fleet growth from six to ten vessels by 2028.
