Lindblad Announces 2026 Visiting Scientist Program Arctic Projects
The National Geographic Society and Lindblad Expeditions have announced six National Geographic Explorer–led research projects selected for the 2026 Arctic season under the Visiting Scientist Program. These projects will be carried out across 11 voyages on the National Geographic Endurance and National Geographic Resolution, focusing on topics such as climate change, Arctic ecosystems, and local communities while engaging guests in onboard science and education.

TUI River Cruises has ordered two CDS River Cruise 135 vessels from Dutch shipyard Concordia Damen, each with 94 cabins for 188 guests and delivery scheduled in 2028. The methanol-ready ships are designed specifically for the UK market and will operate across key European waterways, supporting TUI’s planned fleet growth from six to ten vessels by 2028.
