NAPA Launches AI Permit Dashboard
Maritime software provider NAPA has introduced an AI-powered Permit to Work dashboard within its NAPA Fleet Intelligence cloud platform, aimed at improving fleet-wide safety oversight and reducing administrative workload. Early adopters include Virgin Voyages and The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, which are using the tool to generate real-time, natural-language-driven views of permit activity across multiple vessels. The system converts operational permit data into interactive dashboards without sending raw data through the AI layer, supporting safer, faster decision-making for shore-based teams.

The methanol-ready ships are designed specifically for the UK market and will operate across key European waterways, supporting TUI’s planned fleet growth from six to ten vessels by 2028.
