These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by TELLUS Travels ("we", "us", "our"). By requesting a quote or making a booking with us, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our role

We act as a travel agent and intermediary. We arrange travel services — such as flights, cruises, hotels, tours, and transfers — that are provided by independent third-party suppliers. Your booking of those services is also subject to each supplier's own terms and conditions, which govern the travel itself. We recommend you read them before you book.

2. Quotes and bookings

Quotes are based on the information you give us and on supplier availability and pricing at the time, and are not confirmed until the supplier issues a confirmation and we receive any required payment. You are responsible for reviewing your booking details and telling us promptly of any errors.

3. Prices, deposits, and payment

Prices, taxes, fees, and currency are as shown at the time of booking and may change until the booking is confirmed and paid in line with supplier rules. Deposits and final-payment deadlines are set by the supplier; missing a deadline may cause your booking to be cancelled and deposits to be forfeited. We may charge a service or booking fee, which will be disclosed to you.

4. Changes and cancellations

Changes and cancellations are subject to the applicable supplier's policies, which may include penalties up to the full price. Our own service fees for handling changes or cancellations, if any, will be disclosed to you and are separate from supplier charges.

5. Travel documents, passports, visas, and health

You are responsible for holding valid travel documents, including passports, visas, and any required health documentation, and for meeting the entry, health, and insurance requirements of your destinations. We are not responsible for losses arising from your failure to meet these requirements.

6. Travel insurance

We strongly recommend that you purchase appropriate travel insurance to cover cancellation, medical costs, baggage, and other risks. Travelling without adequate insurance is at your own risk.

7. Liability

As an intermediary, we are not liable for the acts, omissions, or default of any supplier or for events beyond our reasonable control, including force majeure such as weather, natural disasters, strikes, civil unrest, epidemics, or government action. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Except where the law provides otherwise, our liability to you is limited to the value of the service fees you paid us.

8. Complaints

If something goes wrong during your trip, please raise it with the supplier at the time so it can be addressed. If you remain dissatisfied, contact us at rita@tellustravels.com as soon as reasonably possible after your return so we can assist.

9. Intellectual property

The content on this website, including text, images, and logos, is owned by us or our licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Texas, United States, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your booking applies to that booking.
